Create an account

You create an account when you subscribe to CANAL+. Your username is your email address. You choose a password yourself.  This enables you to log into both the app and MY CANAL+.

Log into My CANAL+

- If you subscribe to CANAL+, you also create a My CANAL+ account on canalplus.nl.  

- Go to the profile icon on canalplus.nl on the top right and click on LOGIN. Or go directly to https://www.canalplus.nl/mijnprofiel/. Enter your username and password. Your username is the email address you entered when you subscribed. 

- In My CANAL+, you can easily change your username and password. 

- Have you forgotten your login details? Go to https://www.canalplus.nl/authenticationmodule/wachtwoord-vergeten/ and enter your email address. Click on Send. You will receive an email with a link to a page where you can change your password. 

Cancel and restart your CANAL+ subscription

You can easily cancel your account online through My CANAL+. You only need to click twice to do this. No cancellation fee will be charged. You can discontinue and restart your account at any time in My CANAL+. 

Change account details

You can easily change your account details such as your username and password in My CANAL+. To do this, use the red buttons “change username” or “change password”.

Change payment details

You can see which payment method you are currently using in Mijn CANAL+. Click the “Change” button to change the payment method. Select the desired payment method and confirm with the “Save” button. 

View invoices

In My CANAL+ you will find all your invoices under ‘Invoices’. Click on an invoice to view its details or download the invoice as a PDF.

Invoicing

We collect your subscription fees in advance each month via the payment method you have chosen for your subscription. Your subscription will commence on the date of your registration or on the date your free trial ends. We will collect your following subscription fee one month later on the same day.  

Missed payment

Are we unable to collect the subscription fee? On the day your subscription ends, you will then receive an email with a link to pay.  

- If you do not pay, your subscription will be cancelled the next day. Do you want to watch again? Then you can easily reactivate your subscription. 
- If your first payment was unsuccessful, we will try again. If this does not work, you will receive an email that the payment was unsuccessful with a link to pay.
